Assignment Brief: Prepare a white paper on any one of the latest malwares as follows and a  short video (5 minutes) summarizing your paper.

In a 1500 words white paper, explain the impact of the chosen malware in everyday computing  and provide meaningful insights on the recent research.  
Your paper should contain the following:  
• Executive Summary  
• Behaviour Analysis of the chosen malware, i.e. what are key characteristics of cryptojacking? How it works etc. 
• Subclassification of the chosen malware. 
• Criminal Business model of the chosen malware. 
• State-of-the-art detection techniques for the chosen malware. 
• Usage of references from scholarly journals and other appropriate venues. 
• The 1500-word paper excludes references, table of contents, cover page, etc. 
In a 5-minute long video, discuss the chosen malware. Your video should include the following: • How the malware works, give an example on how it can be functional.  
• What is the impact of the malware? Use a real-life example to explain. 
• What is the best detection technique to fight the malware, based on your research? • Explain how your recommendations are similar and different to malware solutions discussed  in class. 
You can either use a mobile camera or webcam to record yourself. 
Upload the video using following steps: 
• Step 1: Prepare your video in Panopto video library. If it's not ready, click here to navigate  to your personal folder in Panopto. 
• Step 2: Videos are submitted as part of assignments via clicking on "Write Submission".

• Step 3: In the text editor expand "Mashups" and select "Panopto Student Video  Submission". 
• Step 4: If your submission is not in the default personal folder select the folder where your submission is stored.
