1. Initial research is required to enable the student to identify the particular ethical or professional theory or framework and the particular application of data science that their report will focus on. Additional research will then be required to enable the student to produce an essay of between 2000 to 2500 words (excluding reference list).
2. A high mark will be provided for work which is more focused. A lower mark will be awarded for work which offers a general overview of the situation.
3. Support will be provided in class to enable the student to decide the focus of their work.
