Highlights
Purpose of the LAB
The purpose of this lab is to further your understanding of 68HCS12 Assembly Language and Lecture theory by tying all our past learning together in a culminating assignment that exercises your knowledge of the course material.
These activities are based Week 10’s, 11’s and 13’s Lectures and various Hybrid Lectures, including The Stack Hybrid Lecture
Problem Details
Given the fully functional source code listing for Hi_Low_Driver.asm (provided), write subroutine Hi_Low.asm (starter code provided) that implements the Purpose in the supplied subroutine header, given its Preconditions and Postconditions.
Your solution must correctly use iteration (looping), pointers, indexed addressing, integer division, the stack (if required), comparison and branch statements to solve the problem so that your code would correctly run on the Wytec Dragon 12 Plus board that we have been using in the labs.
Note that you cannot modify Hi_Low_Driver.asm in any manner and that your solution must employ the Rules Regarding Subroutines (provided). The array is also repeated here in case the code listing is not clear enough to distinguish the array elements:
Array
db $2E, $E6, $D3, $14, $36, $16, $8E, $31
db $CB, $10, $79, $E4, $ED, $82, $2B
