Task 

1. Analyse the cultural differences between you and a culturally distant country to yours by using Country Navigator (excluding Brazil and UK – If you are national of any of these countries liaise with the Module Leader).

2. You represent a consulting firm. Your UK based client is considering opening up a branch in Brazil. Analyse and report on the risks and opportunities based on the social, technological, political and environmental profile of the country.

3. Analyse the different negotiating strategies between U.K and Brazil.

Marks will be awarded on the ability to demonstrate in-depth understanding and application of the theory of cross-cultural differences to the work place within the current dynamic business environment.

1. You must use Country Navigator / WorldPrism to complete this task. Do not describe the differences. Analyse how the differences might manifest themselves and how you could overcome them.

2. Do not change the countries given to you. You need to base your PEST analysis on in-depth research and current evidence.

3. You could use Country Navigator for this task and complement it with Hofstede’s Insights. Do not change the countries.
