Objective:
Prepare a list of security concerns from project management perspective to operate an online grocery shopping site.
 

Background:
-The grocery company has an online shopping site that runs 24/7/365.
-It has 2 datacenters (one primary, one backup in idle) located in two different time zone. They are in the middle of moving to Azure cloud. The migration is handled by a 3rd party consulting firm. Target completion is end of Q3.
-The shopping site has two user interfaces - web and mobile app.  At this time only Android OS is supported.  There is a plan to support iOS after cloud migration.
-The site requires a user to register/login to place order.  Personally identifiable information (PII) and sensitive financial transaction such as credit card information will be stored.
-Statistics shows average of 2000 unique users have accessed the site daily.  However, during peak season such as Thanksgiving the volume will increase by 10x.
