Objective

1. Propose appropriate psychology-based solutions in applied settings.

2. Design or replicate a research study to confirm or disconfirm a testable hypothesis.

3. Craft a research report in adherence to the current American Psychological Association.

4. Style guide and formatting requirements.

Task

In this assessment, students will be provided with a dataset collected during a behavioral experiment on human participants as well as an introduction section of a report outlining the motivation behind the study and the aims and hypotheses. Students will be asked to critically analyze the results and write a research report that includes an Abstract, Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion, and References section. Students will also be asked to use GenAl to assist their work but will be required to reflect on its value and pitfalls.
