• Identify a real world variable that you can measure, using a measuring instrument (i.e. stopwatch, measuring tape, ruler, micrometer, etc.).
• Design a data collection form to record your measurements.
• Perform the necessary measurements. You will need to record a minimum of 45 measurements.
• Enter your data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and then use the tools and functions of Microsoft Excel to do the following:

• Use the appropriate spreadsheet functions to derive all the relevant statistics for the data.
• Create cells for grouping the data. Use worksheet formulas to determine the bins.
• Use the appropriate array function to group the data.
• Use the graph functionality to develop the following graphs:
•  Histogram and polygon on the same set of axis
• Relative more-than and less-than ogives on the same set of axis
• A pie chart for the relative frequencies
