The aim of this self-directed project is to analyze in-depth the implementation of an analytical finance system to solve an issue/improve a task within the field.

You are to research, select, and analyze a problem, an issue, an event, or a business process that needs to be solved with the aid of data analysis. The following are examples of questions you may explore during your research, please note that your research and the nature of your questions will depend on the case.

Data Model related questions

• What are the current organization challenges/tasks these can be solved/improved using data science/machine learning?
• What is the dataset that can be used?
• What is the model (descriptive/predictive) that needs to be developed?

Business questions

• How the proposed analytical model will help the organization to overcome the current challenges.
• Is it possible to implement the task using traditional methods (example manually)?
• How will the developed system affect the structure of the organization?
• Will the developed system shift the power within the ranks of the organization / profession?
• Will the developed system change the job skill-set?
