1. Deciding the Project Topics

Meet with your teammates and discuss the following items.

• How do you formulate the problem as a data mining problem? Be specific about what you are trying to predict (or classify) and how you evaluate your results.
• Where do you get the data sets?
• What tools or software will you use (e.g., Excel, Python, WEKA, etc.)?
• What models will you use (e.g., decision tree, neural networks, SVM,
  etc.)?

2. PowerPoint Presentation

Prepare a PowerPoint presentation. You will not give the presentation in class. Instead, please record your presentation via PowerPoint and submit to Brightspace.

Introduction: 

• The background of the project and specify your problem.
• The importance or practical value of the problem.
• Methodology: Discuss the methodology you use.
• Data and Experimental settings: Discuss the data, evaluation metrics, and anything else related to the experimental settings.
• Results and analysis: Show your results in figures and/or tables. Discuss them.
• Discussion and Conclusion: provide a conclusion of your project and discuss
  future work
