Part B: Data Modelling
The Phubbing International Conference (PIC) is the main conference for researchers interested in phubbing. As the conference grew, the organisers have decided to implement a relational database to help with the organisation of the conference. Each year the conference is held, PIC organisers need to keep a record of the conference code, dates, conference theme, chair person and registration fee. The conference venue can be used more than once and is identified by venue_id. Other details that should be kept for the venue include maximum seating capacity, seating style, address, and phone number. The PIC organisers also require keeping a record of all conference attendees identified by Attendee_l D. For each attendee, details such as name, phone number and email address are also recorded. Attendees tend to attend more than one conference. Each time an attendee contributes to a discussion, the PIC organisers give him/her a contribution rating, which should be recorded. PIC organisers also require keeping track of all keynote speakers. Details to be recorded for each keynote speaker include Speaker_ID, name, phone number, topic and email address. Keynote speakers can speak at more than one conference. Each conference can have more than one keynote speaker. Each time a keynote speaker speaks at a conference, the PIC organisers give him/her a performance rating, which should be recorded.
