Grades Assessment is competency-based, and students are required to complete all learning outcomes and assessments for each course within the programme to achieve the award of the qualification. There are five results you can achieve – A, B, C, NA or FER. You must achieve a C grade or above in all course assessments to pass the course. A FER means further evidence is required and you must submit the evidence required to achieve a grade and to avoid an NA. There will be a time limit of 3-5 days on a FER resubmission. NA Not achieved. You have not passed the assessment. You may have submitted an incomplete assessment. FER Further evidence required. This means there may be information or examples missing from your answers in the assessment. You will be guided on what information is missing and from what section(s) by your tutor. You will then need to expand on your original answer(s) and resubmit for marking. A table with descriptions of each grade level, and what you need to show/evidence in the assessment to reach each level, can be found at the end of this assessment.
