Title: Decision Making for Electronic Component Samples
Introduction: A transistor is one of most important components in any electronic circuit design. One of its’ applications is to design an audio amplifier. The function of an amplifier is to magnify many times a small voltage at input so the voltage level at the output has sufficient power to drive a speaker. The manufacturers provide a data sheet to claim accurately their transistors. As a customer, we would like to verify their claims using statistical analysis before a decision made to purchase them. Your specific analysis is the measured values of VCE of the test transistors. Objectives; At the end of this assignment, the student should be able
a) To determine appropriate statistical analysis method for evaluating the electronic component samples (C4-PO1)
b) To perform statistical analysis using R software (P4-PO5)
c) To demonstrate the finding of the obtained results (A3)
Equipment; Resistors, digital multimeter, DC supply, wires and a breadboard
