The current study used a Within Subject Experimental Design in which all participants were exposed to every condition or treatment. Participants 

The sample in this study included 245 participants with 178 females and 67 males. The participants were Wester Sydney University undergraduate psychology students who participated in the experiment in class as a part of their course. Demographic data was collected before the participants started the experiment. The demographic data only included gender details – there were no details about the participants’ name, age, cultural background, language spoken at home or country of birth. Also, it wasn’t any requirement that the participants have to wear glasses as in most of the experiments which are done in front of a computer screen. The participants were asked if they normally wore contact lenses, and in that case they were told to keep them on for the experiment.
