This assessment requires you to conduct a post-Covid strategic workforce planning exercise to meet the on-going changing demands for your organisation (or an organisation you are familiar with – e.g., any previous organisation you may have worked for or a well-known organisation). You are required to begin with an introduction of your chosen organisation and its industry. Furthermore, in terms of the main body of the report, you must focus on conducting a labour market scanning, labour demand forecasting, labour supply analysis and how your organisation plans to balance its labour demand versus supply.
This assessment task is designed to allow you to apply relevant strategic workforce planning concepts to a real-world organisation in a contemporary context. As workforce planning is a key topic in this subject, this assessment will enable you to critically think about the current and future challenges that organisations may face when making post-Covid HRM decisions.
