Students will demonstrate their increased command of architectural orthographic communication which will be presented through the transformation of the case study. The information presented must show your understanding of architectural vocabulary by demonstrating various presentation and drawing techniques which support the architectural communication of these concepts with a focus on planar information. 
Each week, you will focus on a specific theme and be asked to carry out a series of activities [described in the lesson plan] based on an assigned architectural case study.

This assignment can be understood in 4 parts: 
1. Conceptual demonstration: Identify a 'operation' to the theme - diagrams, parameters, and transformations- and demonstrate graphically the definition utilising the appropriate architectural language demonstrated in each session.

2. Graphic representation: Students will transform the assigned case study and produce a 'new' set of architectural drawings, which support the communication of the assignment theme - dialogues.

3. Documentation: Students will use Adobe InDesign to create the final part of the Architectural Primer. The Architectural Primer will synthesise all weekly visualisation activities, architectural language and techniques including the transformation of the case study. All information must be collated into a cohesive document clearly communicating the relationships between all weekly themes.

4. Presentation and Discussion: Students will participate in complex and/or abstract interactions and discussions, demonstrating critical thinking and effective collaboration.
