The dream is a film, and the film is a dream. The movie Inception (Nolan, 2010) is rich with meaning, and you are required to analyse this film according to the following theoretical frameworks:

Lacan's Mirror Stage as applied to film (How does the film reflect back to the audience? Provide examples, with justification) Sigmund Freud's Psychoanalysis theory and dream theory as applied to film (Identify characters in the film that represent the Id, Ego and Super Ego. Provide examples, with justification) Surrealism as applied to film (What surrealist elements are present in the film? Provide examples, with justification)
