How did the English policy of mercantilism and 18th century colonial wars contribute to the outbreak of The American Revolutionary War? What actions of English in 177os led to American proclamation and publishing of American Declaration of Independence by 1776? What were the main achievements of Jefferson's administration and how did it affect American social and political life? How did the Louisiana purchase change the United States? How did Thomas Jefferson understand race? How did his election and his personal opinions regarding people of different races put African-Americans, both freed and enslaved, into disadvantaged situations? Lastly, what challenges did Jefferson face during his second term, and how did he respond to these challenges?
