Assignment brief
Sasol has received an application for the construction of a new fuelling station on ERF6781 in Fairbreeze on the KZN north coast. The site layout is as per Drawing
SAS001 (Annexure D)
 

You are required to:
i. Develop a basic layout and design for the new fuelling station including parking area and Convenience store
ii. Write a suitable engineering specification for the structure covering all items such as geotechnical study, steel and or concrete design and pavement design.
iii. Investigate and report on all applicable municipal and or government bylaws for such a structure.
iv. Produce as-built drawings using a computer aided drawing package
v. Write a Bill of quantities for the structure. Show all calculations in the addendum section of the document.
vi. Write an advert for inclusion in a local newspaper calling for tenderers which should be located immediately after your contents page.
vii. Use size 12 Arial font with 1 ½ line spacing.
viii. Annexure A (attached) should be your first page immediately after the cover page.
