You are required to choose an organisation for the conduct of this assignment. This assignment provides you with the opportunity to develop components of an Environmental Management System for a “real world” organisation. 
It is recognised that there may be difficulty in visiting a site during this period due to COVID-19 related restrictions. I will discuss the approach you can use in the Bb Collaborate sessions, but essentially you can access data/information from the site contact and potentially the organisations website. 

Note that you are not expected to develop a full Environmental Management System, as this would not be possible given the limitations of the Unit and the Trimester. 

For your selected organisation, you will need to: 
Conduct the initial environment review 
Develop a draft environmental policy 
Develop a risk assessment matrix to determine the significant impacts and thus to justify the priority for actions (ie., part of the continual improvement philosophy) 
Develop an implementation program that includes objectives and targets for the top 5 significant impacts 
Outline timeframes and responsibilities for an action plan for the above program 
Provide a monitoring/review framework 

I have specifically not placed a word limit on this assignment. It is up to you to ensure that the report meets its objectives. You should think carefully about how you will present data and other components of the report. 
The report should be addressed to the manager of the facility that you have audited. That is, it must be written in such a style that they will be able to use the report and implement improved environment management options. 

You will need to advise me no later than Friday 7th August 2020 as to the organisation that you propose to use for this case study. If they require a confidentiality agreement, advise them that this can be arranged and that you will obtain it from me – then contact me with all the relevant details.

Initial environmental review results and discussion as to what the data means 
Draft environmental policy 
Risk assessment matrix and discussion on decisions 
Objectives and targets
