Students will select a video from those provided and view it and undertake the following analysis. Students are to write two observations based their selected video . They are to choose a focus child from this video and also provide a short description of their chosen child (5-8 words) so they can be identified. You will also need to state which video you are observing [ i.e. no 1).

Task:
After viewing your selected video you are to write a learning story for your chosen child. Your learning story is to be based on the 2 observations you undertook which are based on your focus child's engagement with other children, the environment and adults in the setting. You are to demonstrate your pedagogical understanding of the valued learning that is evident and explores possible future planning (or 'what next') that might be offered as a result of your interpretation and analysis of learning. Students must use the template provided on the course canvas shell. A minimum of five scholarly references must be used to inform the story and must be appended. They are not counted in the word count.
