In part A you are asked to write an essay discussing how professional standards and values are important in delivering person centred care.
You are expected to identify the topics that have been covered in class and relate these to the essay remit, as relevant to your field. These topics are;
Professional values, NHS/healthcare values and the 6Cs. legal and ethics principles.
Professional standards and conduct expected of a Nursing associate in relation to the Nursing and Midwifery Council 2018 Code.
The role of the Nursing and Midwifery council with regards to maintain professional standards.
In part B you asked to discuss the social, political and economic concepts of health and wellbeing.
Introduce the determinants of health and well-being.
Discuss how the determinants of health can adversely affect safe and effective care and wellbeing.
Your discussion should include the social and political context of health and well-being including inequality, and health inequality, social exclusion and hard to reach groups, health and safety policy.
