A selection of three (3) social policies/programs will be provided in week 4 and will be made available on Blackboard. You will be required to choose one (1) of these social policies/programs. 1. Summarise the key features of the current policy, its setting and its administration. This could include, if relevant, information such as : ? The institutional and jurisdictional settings for this social policy. ? The relevant legislation, agreements and administrative guidelines relating to this policy, and funding responsibilties. ? The work which human service workers. 2. ?Clearly identify the focus of your distributional analysis, including defining key concepts/categories, and present the findings of your analysis on different population groups. 3. Reflect on the fairness of the distributional analysis of the current policy. Consideration should be given to different notions of fairness and public attitudes.
