You are to choose an international destination for an anniversary get together for yourself family and friends in approximately 12 months. You are tasked with conducting the research, and then presenting your findings to your family and friends for approval before a decision is made to complete the purchase.

• Identify and explain in detail, the phases and criteria you will go through in finalising the location and venue.
• Other than price as a factor, evaluate what else you need to consider in your decision.
• Identify and analyse what sectors of the tourism industry would need to be considered and approached
• Evaluate how you would be influenced by media

Assess the importance of the following in your decision:

• Environmental factors
• Socio-economic factors
• Historical and cultural factors.
