Reflection 1 - Infographic

Ensure that you know what the meaning of an infographic is, and review what an infographic includes. Review content under the Assignments tab on FOL for more information.

In your own words, create a poster or infographic for parents and/or educators that describes the importance of observation and pedagogical documentation following all guidelines below.

It is expected that you will use a computer/internet program/creative plan to help you with this task. Some suggestions include canva.com, postermywall.com, easel.ly, etc. Your assignment must be downloaded and submitted to the submissions folder as a PDF document.

This is not to be a 'cut and paste' task. Share what you understand regarding observation and pedagogical documentation as discussed in our classes and the course content reviewed so far. "Cutting and pasting" will result in issues with Academic Integrity, as this is plagiarism and does not show your understanding of the topic. You must attempt to use APA. Review APA guidelines in the APA and Academic Integrity module on FOL.

Your poster/infographic must include in your words and cited when necessary:

1. The importance of observation as it relates to responding to children's natural curiosity and inquiry.

2. The importance of pedagogical documentation and what that can look like.

3. Include tips and strategies to effective observation and pedagogical documentation.

Reflection  2: Infographic 

1. Watch the videos a) Connecting vs Directing Behaviour b) How Brains Are Built With Our Support.

2. Familiarize yourself with what an infographic includes as you will be creating one in
reflection on what responsive care is.

3. See examples of Infographics in this folder.

4. Create your own by following the reflection guidelines.

5. Check due dates.

• One page poster 'Infographic"
• Include an attempt at a reference page attached to your poster. More APA lessons to come.
• Must be your own creative work for max marks.
