Stage 1 – Modelling - Use SolidWorks to create a model of one or more parts of the implant. The model must have sufficient complexity or enough parts to include the use of at least 10 different features. The minimum number of features can either selected from the features list below (table 1) or include other features that are more applicable. The model should represent your highest level of expertise in modelling to replicate the Zimmer Biomet hip implant. Higher marks will be awarded for models that showcase the breadth of your modelling knowledge, problem solving skills producing a photorealistic model rather than a model that uses the minimum number of basic features, with a low level of problem solving producing an unrealistic model. Refer to the marking criteria for details of how to achieve the higher marks.

These separate part files have to be in the same folder but should not be mated until Stage 2 to progress to the higher level on the marking sheet.
Stage 2 - Assembly Mates - You can only obtain marks for this stage if you have FULLY completed Stage 1.

Just use sufficient mates to ensure everything works properly and is realistic motion for a hip implant.
