Task: Title: Education and care program design in early childhood settings • Design a program for an early childhood setting which is guided by your documentation, planning and assessment philosophy, and the Principles and Practices of Belonging, being and becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (DEEWR, 2009). • Describe the theoretical and curriculum approaches that are influencing your approach to the program design. • Ensure the program demonstrates the Early Years Learning Framework Planning Cycle, linkages between sections and includes documentation methods, planning tools and formative and summative assessment strategies. • Design a program that caters for the entire day of an education and care setting, including provision of the indoors, outdoors, group learning opportunities and curriculum learning areas. • Provide examples in a variety of ways utilising digital technologies, such as written descriptions; procedures; flow charts; lists and/or visual images.
