1. Introduction: 
Attached to this document is a design package of a residential building. The building is a reinforced concrete structure, it comprises a 2-level basement, ground floor, nine typical floors and a roof. The project is illustrated in the attached drawings including floor plans and elevations. The drawings are in PDF format. You are required to present a detailed method statement for the given project as detailed below.

2. Project: 
The project will be built on a vacant lot in Dubai with level topography. For the purposes of your work, final site grades are equal to the pre-construction on-site grades. The present ground composition consists of 15cm topsoil and below that a mix of gravel and sand downwards. No clearing or grubbing is required and utility connections are available on site. Dewatering will be required throughout substructure works. The structural system will be reinforced concrete, a cast-in-place structural system with concrete floor and roof slabs.

3. Project location
The project footprint is approximately 34m x 40m. It is to be built in Dubai at the location shown in the picture below.

Requirements: 

1. Provide a very detailed method statement for the given project. Your description should cover starting the mobilization work until the end of the concrete structure. You don’t have to account for finishing or MEP works. Your description should cover the stages of work, the operations that will be performed, the equipment that will be used, and temporary construction….etc. You are advised to find and benefit from different method statements available online. 

2. Highlight in a separate section(s) the requirements of the Dubai municipality safety code regarding works included in your projects and show how are they addressed during project delivery. 

3. Design two site layouts for two different project stages. The design should be explained and justified. You can also include other sketches/drawings if you see necessary. Properly addressing this requirement requires identifying site components, sizing site components, analyzing components relations using Space Analysis Diagram, and using zoning to locate items on an engineering drawing. 

4. You also have to include a schedule showing different works sequence and inter-relations. The focus is not on works durations but rather on the sequence of works. Accordingly, you can reasonably assume all works durations. 

You have the design available, but you are responsible for making all decisions regarding the construction methods. Your methods have to be perfectly aligned with the Code of Constructions Safety Practice issued by Dubai Municipality. 

Deliverables:
Your deliverables are a minimum of two site layout design drawings and a well written and properly formatted report. The report should document your method statement along with all the assumptions you made. Your report should be structured as follows:
