In this assessment task, you will develop a case which articulates your personal philosophy of Design and Technologies Education. You will include a rationale for it being a component of general education and some discussion of appropriate activities, pedagogies and assessment. It is expected that your essay will be informed by both literature and your own experience, so a personal element in this philosophy is relevant and acceptable. Note that the focus of this essay is on general education (for everyone) rather than on vocational education.
