Your assignment must include:

• Unique Title – Give your assessment a unique title.
• Introduction (LO5) – Write an introduction to the whole assessment (include all the sections that are being covered, no references, keep it simple).
• Placement Learning (LO3) – Identify, describe and analyse one key leadership insight from your professional experience (this is something that had an impact on you). Elaborate on how this key insight is significant to you as a future leader. (Must link to literature)
• National Quality Standard (LO2 & LO4) – Provide a brief explanation of what the NQS is (one paragraph). In discussion with the leader, select one NQS Element to focus on. Analyse the intent of the Element. Explain the leader’s role in ensuring the Element is being met. (Must link to literature)
• Unit Learning (LO3) – Identify, describe and analyse one key insight from the unit material (topics, readings, videos, etc) (this is something that had an impact on you). Elaborate on how this key insight is significant to you as a future leader. (Must link to literature)
• Leadership Style (LO3) – Identify, explain and analyse the leadership style that resonates with you. (Must link to literature)
• Advocate for the ECE field (LO4) – Explain what an advocate is. Discuss how you will advocate for children, families, educators and the early childhood profession in your future role as an early childhood leader. (Must link to literature)
• Conclusion (LO5) – Write a basic conclusion for the whole assignment.
• References (LO5) – follow APA referencing requirements (reference list always starts on a new page).
• Appendix (LO6) – A copy of your professional experience goals (2-3) written in the SMART concept. (Guide provided in the Assignment 2 Template, please use it).

• Use a footnote indicating a pseudonym for the setting and a pseudonym for the staff. For staff, only a pseudonym first name is needed. Do not provide any information that can be identified. Ensure the pseudonym is used throughout the assignment (do a ‘find and replace’ to ensure names have not been missed, including in your transcript).
• Include headings (Introduction, Placement Learning, National Quality Standard, Unit Learning, Leadership Style, Advocate for the ECE field, Conclusion, References and Appendix) to distinguish your work.
