In this assessment task, you are required to select one of the four mathematics syllabuses available on the ACARA website and to develop a lesson sequence for one of the topics in Unit 1 of that syllabus.  The lesson sequence is to cover the first two weeks for one of the topics in Unit 1.  For example, in the case of the Mathematics Methods syllabus above, you would write one lesson sequence for one of the topics that you have chosen. 

You will also provide one lesson plan with supporting learning activities.  The lesson plan may address any area from within the lesson sequence that you have developed.
