A learning plan contributes to establishing a clear learning structure. A combination of a learning plan and reflection can result in greater progress towards meeting identified goals. This report aims to provide a self–evaluation of my learning development and experience in my first session of study at university. There are four learning goals that are reviewed in this report and they are improving my time management, academic writing, referencing, and developing a growth mindset. Strategies and resources are outlined; my main barriers are identified, and an evaluation of outcomes and reflection are provided. This report also includes a discussion of the academic skills required in my discipline of study, namely Business. Questions: 1) Discuss the importance of time management and what you have learnt about it in this unit 2) Discuss the characteristics of ‘Academic English’ 3) Include a description of what referencing is and why it is important 4) Begin by describing a Growth Mindset and why it is important to your learning.
