Task: Evaluation Proposal This assignment requires students to develop an evaluation proposal for an evaluand of their choice. The evaluand that is the focus of the assignment can be a: 1. Policy 2. Program/Service 3. Product (for example learning materials) The evaluation form and approaches must be relevant to the evaluand. The purpose of this assignment is to convince a reader that an evaluation focusing on a specific evaluand is appropriate/needed and doable. It is intended that students design an evaluation project around an evaluand that is personally interesting. The evaluation will not be carried out. Your evaluation proposal must be presented in a report that follows the outlines for planning and negotiating an evaluation given in Figure 4.1 of the Owen text (refer below). The following sections must be included in the proposal: 1. The nature of the evaluand 2. The orientation / purposes of the evaluation 3. Key stakeholders to be involved in the evaluation 4. Key evaluation questions 5. Resources required to conduct the evaluation 6. Assembly of information / Data management 7. Dissemination of results 8. Ethical issues 9.
