Effect of Farnesol on Biofilm Formation and QS of Bacteria Assignment

Assignment Task

The deadline is the 19th April here, we made biofilm formation experiments with 5 bacteria, you can see the calculated results in excel.

I made an EXAMPLE for figure preparation, use that for further result presentation. This figure will be used for the Biofilm formation chapter in the thesis. Standard deviation is also calculated you need to add it to the figures, I hope you can do that :)

Put the figure in the text, give ot a name and interpret the results. I gave you instructions in the excel.

I will send the result in separate emails so no mix-up or misunderstanding will happen.

First, the MIC values of 5 bacteria + C. violaceum and S. marcescens. Everything is calculated, I even wrote some explanations.

Please make a table, where you add the name of the bacteria and the MIC value obtained in microgram/ml. If there was no MIC you just write NO MIC Detected or -

You also need to explain your results, write a few explanations to it as well. This will be the Determination of MIC values section of the Results..

Last part is the QS inhibition with C violaceum and S marcescens.

I left all instructions in the excel. Similarly, put the figures in the text after you added SD and give it a name. Interpret the results you see on the figure. Here I left the SD calculations to you, based on the biofilm results I hope you can do it.

ALSO for figures write what the X and the Y axis represents. So in this chapter you will have 2 figures, give them a name and interpret the results.
