While she is usually fairly active in her garden and manages well at home, she does not drive so she does not often leave home as she relies on public transport to go out. She was born in Scotland and came out to Australia with her parents as a young girl. When she married her husband of 51 years ‘Jim’ she moved to a rural town called Wiimali 4 hours from Sydney. Mrs. Poole has two children, Lauren (35 years) and Jason (32 years). Jason lives in Western Australia and Lauren lives with her husband and their 3 children 5 kilometers away. Mrs. Poole and Lauren are close and speak on the phone every day.
