Emulating Software Defined Network Using Mininet

Assignment Task

This mini project is having a goal of this mini project is to design and implement SDN network using Mininet's Python API and assess the performance of the designed SDN network along with potential security threats.

1. Create a network having two hosts H1 and H2, three switches S1, S2, and S3, and a SDN controller. You topology look like this,

Path 1: H1-S1-S2-H2

Path 2: H1-S1-S3-S2-H2

2. Send 100 ping packets from H1 to H2 via Path 1 and Path 2.

3. Write a command to make Link 1 fail.
