Assignment Brief
For this ICA, you are required to produce a Business Plan linked to your area of study along with a reflection using the submission template provided. There are 3 main tasks you need to complete. A MS Word template is included in the Assignment folder of your module Blackboard site for you to complete and submit.

Task 1: Business model canvas
You must use the business model canvas taught on the module to develop a business plan for a sustainable innovative product / service / system or process linked to an engineering discipline. All aspects of the business model canvas must be completed.  The first page of the MS Word submission template focuses on the triple layered business model canvas in a poster format. 
 
 
Task 2: Reflection on the Business Plan design activities
Identify one or more learning events that you have encountered whilst undertaking the design of your business plan. A learning event could be something that confirms or contradicts your prior knowledge, theories or understanding. It does not have to be an event that went well; often we learn more from things that do not go quite as planned. If it was a negative learning event, describe what you will do differently in the future to lead to a more positive outcome and how you will use this experience to guide future behaviour. When identifying your learning event(s), think about all the things you have done as part of putting together your business plan using the business model canvas. Decide which of those things have helped you understand better or helped you become better at business plan designing. 
Separate to this, also reflect on your interactions with your course group. Thinks about how it has influenced your approach to business planning.
Discuss your reflection on the learning event(s) you have identified and your interactions in a written form (around 500 words). The second page of the MS Word submission template focuses on task 2.
