Highlights
1. Report will be marked for general clarity and how well the solution method employed as well as any reasoning has been explained to the reader. You MUST briefly explain your methods. Just providing the MATLAB code and leaving it to the reader to understand what has been done will be given a zero mark. Approx. 40% of the overall mark
2. Report presentation, including language, professional look, quality of figures etc will be marked. Start new solutions from a new page. Make sure figures are exported from MATLAB in high quality and have large and legible axis labels, legends, titles etc. All figures should have a figure number and MUST be referred to in the main text of your report.
3. Make sure your MATLAB code is well commented and that your variable and function names are understandable. Use the lecture and tutorial examples for guidance. Scripts without comments and badly named variables will be graded poorly. Approx. 30% of the overall mark
4. Make sure you cite ALL sources used to make your report. This includes any examples provided in the lecture if you use these as the basisfor your own solutions. Use of online resources is ONLY permitted if you have understood the code and reproduced the logic in your OWN code. Copy-pasting and then minor editing of
code found online is plagiarism and will result in an academic misconduct investigation.
