Description: 
In this task, you will create an ePortfolio in Mahara, which will include a cover letter, resume and five year plan. 
In the cover letter, you should introduce yourself by summarising key skills, qualifications, experiences and future aspirations. You should also provide an introduction to the ePortfolio by highlighting the key sections (e.g. resume and five year plan). The resume should include a clear and succinct overview of your previous work experience, education and qualifications. The five year plan should describe 4-5 goals that you have identified as important for you to achieve over the next five years. You should then describe actionable plans to achieve those goals. 
After submitting your ePortfolio, you will book in for a mentoring session with a member of staff. This 20 minute session will allow you to discuss your ePortfolio and future employment and/or study intentions with a staff marker. 
Purpose: 
This assessment task addresses learning outcomes 1 and 2 (see below). ePortfolios are increasingly used in applications for employment, as part of professional registration, and in creating a professional presence online. The creation of your ePortfolio will allow you to compare your current skills, experience and qualifications against your future goals. This comparison will highlight areas of weakness that can be addressed to help achieve your goals. Similarly, creating well-defined and actionable plans will also help you achieve your goals. In developing a five year plan, you will also discover the range of services available to you as students at the University of Canberra. 
Related learning outcomes: 
1. Identify the personal skills, capabilities and knowledge necessary to meet the work standards expected by psychology graduates in the workplace, and develop a personal and academic plan to achieve these. 
2. Map out their academic and professional trajectories over the next five years in an ePortfolio. 
Submission: 
Your ePortfolio will be presented in Mahara as a ‘Collection’ of ‘Pages’ which will then be submitted on Canvas. Please ensure that you have created a ‘Collection’ of all your work before you submit so that everything is included when assessed.
