Using the Physical or Earth and Space sciences, you are required to identify a year level and a context that would engage your students. Once the target year and context is identified, you are to design three activities. Please be aware that these are activities, and not lesson plans. The activities

The activities will include the following in the different stages of the 5 E’s model of instruction and will include:
 

1. First Activity – This will focus on the Engage phase of the 5E’s, and will contain a digital technology component (not a YouTube video OR video). These items are commonly called a DLO or digital learning object, and can be found on Scootle (use advanced search in science areas with the search term: interactives).
 

2. Second Activity – This will focus on the Elaboration phase and will be a participant designed scientific investigation.

3. Third Activity – This activity is an assessment activity that will focus on participant conceptual change and will be based upon the Evaluation phase.
