Assessment brief
You must submit a portfolio of evidence which comprises three elements:
A mapping of your prior learning to the learning outcomes (using the template provided on page 8.
A critical reflective commentary, applying your previous learning to post graduate study and demonstrating how the graduate skills you currently have can be transferred to your development as future nurse.
A development plan detailing identified future development needs and how these might be addressed.
Scanned copies of certificates and transcripts.

Guidance
The Process
Every applicant who wishes to apply for the Pg Dip Nursing course (with Nursing and Midwifery Council registration) will need to evidence the equivalent 900 hours of graduate and transferable skills to access the course.
What is required?
In order to be awarded 90 credits at level 6 the submitted portfolio will be assessed against learning outcomes by an internal assessor and a sample of those submitted are sent to an external examiner. The successful portfolio results will be presented for ratification at a Module Assessment Board for formal recognition of the academic credits. You will be informed of the outcome prior to commencing the course.
