FABRICATION AND COMPARISION OF A SOLID ROCKET MOTOR WITH TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF NOZZLES
ABSTRACT
Rocket motor is one of the significant components in constructing amateur solid rocket and their manufacturing process is discussed. The prior knowledge of rocket motor and its subcomponents must be studied in order to get the blueprints for the designing. Another vital thing that needs to be considered while creating this rocket motor is it must be design for optimum dimensions and need to be analyzed.
An optimum dimension of rocket body casing and nozzles should be considered so that results of analysis can be precise. So, crucial things in getting the best result for analysis will depend on the correct dimensions and angle design. So, the model is created in "CATIA V5" and analyzed in ANSYS with two different nozzles. Next the results are compared and fabricated the rocket motor where the rocket motor was fabricated.
