When faults occur in a network, the phase voltages and currents in each phase are affected at the bus where the fault occurs as well as at connected buses. In this experiment, a system will be developed for solving symmetrical and asymmetrical faults at the faulted bus. The system involved is shown in Figure 1 with the sequence reactances for the system shown in Table 1 on a 100 MVA base and voltage levels throughout the system shown in kV in Table 2. The fault occurs at bus 3.
