1. Learners in the FET phase encounter many challenges and deal with several issues that may impact on their lives. Two common challenges learners may face are bullying and academic difficulties.

Nel (2018) identifies 8 fundamental life skills that learners need to acquire for successful living and learning, among these are problem‐solving and decision‐making.

Write a guideline document of 1500 words explaining the life skills that could be taught to learners to help them to navigate each of the challenges mentioned above. Choose 3 life skills that you could use for each challenge and describe how you would apply these in the classroom context.
