1.1 Details of Each Assessment Item The assessments for this subject are described below. Task details: The Global Financial Crisis (GFC) is the most significant worldwide economic catastrophe since the Great Depression of 1929. The sub-prime mortgage crisis is an example of the financial crisis that affected global financial markets world-wide. Discuss the possible causes of the financial crisis. Give some other examples of the financial crisis events and their impact on financial markets world-wide. Explain the scale and impact of the GFC in the economies of three different countries.

Assessment Type:
Final Exam invigilated exam - individual assessment. Students should bring a 10-digit non-programmable calculator to the exam. No other supporting aids will be permitted, including calculators on mobile phones or other electronic devices.
