As a Mutual Fund manager for a leading Canadian Investment firm specializing in agricultural co-op investments you have been asked tocreate a dashboard to reflect and analyze performance of investments made in 2022

Questions

1. Not all of the data is complete. On the Trading Data tabpopulate the 'Province' column based on data in theCustomer Data tab. 

2. Also on the Trading Data tab populate the 'Customer Risk' column based on data in the Customer Data andRisk Index.

3. Also on the Trading Data tab populate the 'Cost' column based on the 'Purchased Units' and Unit Price' columns.

4. Create a Pivot Table from the Trading Data on the 'Part 1 PT' tab using the steps below as a guide to analyze the units traded monthly in each stock in 2022Give the Pivot Table an approprate name.

5. Add at least 2 elements to rows and the date element (months) to columns Display the Pivot Table in a colour of choice.

6. Apply an appropriate format to the data in the Pivot Table Sort the pivot table on one of the row elements. What happens when you sort on the 2nd (lower element)

7. Discuss the item selections that you have made for rows, columns and values for the Pivot table. How have your row & column selections properly conveyed the data for units traded.

8. If you change the order of the 2 elements selected for rows, how does this affect the way the information is presented.

9. Create a corresponding Pivot Chart on the 'Part 1 PC' tab to graph units purchased per month using the steps below as a guideGive the Pivot Chart an approprate name. 

10. Ensure the chart type is a 'Clustered Column' Ensure the months are represented the horizontal axis.

11. Add an appropriate title to the chart Add a data table to the chart Add appropriate titles to the axes and modify the chart colour and style to best convey the data.

12. Discuss the formatting selections that you have made. How have your formatting choices made the data clearer to visualize.

13. Add 2 slicers next to the Pivot Chart - one for the 'Traded Exchange' and the other for 'Customer Risk' and verify that the slicers modify the data in the Pivot Chart.

14. Using a custom slicer style format the 2 slicers to match the style of the pivot chart.
