You are required to write an academic essay on the topic listed below.  Your essay should follow an essay structure and should flow in a clear and logical manner.  You should write the essay in your own words and ensure that you acknowledge the use of literature appropriately.
You need to support your response with appropriate evidence from academic sources and ensure that you reference these sources appropriately in APA 7th format.
You should ensure that you meet the word length limit and proofread your work carefully.  You should also ensure that you follow the Fed Uni Guide to Lay-out and Appearance to format and present your essay.
You will receive feedback from your annotated bibliography to assist you in completing your essay.
Essay question:
Choose one client group (from the list below) and justify which foundational social work theory is most suitable for social work practice with this client group.  In your response, critically evaluate the use of this theory at the micro, meso and macro levels.
You may choose from one of the following four client groups:
·         Young people with disabilities living in nursing homes
·         LGBTIQ+ people experiencing loneliness and isolation
·         People experiencing homelessness and poverty in regional areas of Australia
·         Young people living in refugee camps
Note: if you have another client group that you would like to explore (for example, something that is relevant to your country of origin or your practice experience) then please discuss this with the Course Coordinator. Do not go ahead with a different client group unless you have an email response from the Course Coordinator to give you permission to do so.
