In this assignment, students must select a publicly listed entity from US Stock Exchange, perform fundamental analysis and provide investment recommendations. The selected company can be one of the companies in your investment competition portfolio. Introduction (10%) In this section, you must provide the company background, historical stock performance, and relevant information to your recommendation.

Qualitative analysis

This section should analyze

• The current state of the economy and the economic implication to the financial market
• The opportunity and challenge of the industry the company operates in.
• The competitive advantages of the company
• Corporate governance and management team

Quantitative analysis 

This section should provide

• Financial analysis – horizontal, vertical, ratio and Dupont analysis
• Valuation – DCF, DDM or Price Comparable
• Margin of Safety
