• Processes of data - Improves the quality of an organization or an information content by providing relevant information for sound decision. Data is processed to change it the essential information.
• Storage of information - for future use it stores both processed and raw data.
• Decision Support System (DSS) is an interactive flexible computer-based information system or sub-system intended that aid decision makers use communication technologies, data, document to identify and solve problems, complete decision process tasks, and make choices. Managers can make simulations and forecasts using information, models, or analysis tools provided by the system. Decision support system’s functions includes:
• Produces reports that may project sales, revenue and manage inventory.

This data quality feature indicates that the information is correct, as the name implies. Ask yourself if the information reflects a real-world situation to establish whether the material is reliable.
• For instance, if the address entered for a security response firm is 1135 Yellow Brick Way, but your actual address is 1135 Yellow Brick Avenue, the response team will arrive at the incorrect address since they are utilizing erroneous information. As a result, information accuracy is critical.
• Completeness- Completeness is another characteristic of high-quality data. Because it is simply a small part of the picture, partial information may as well be incomplete information. When entering data into a database, completeness is just as important as correctness.
