Content reflection
Throughout this subject you are provided with both game design theory and practical exercises / task. You are required to write a 1-page (500 words + images) reflection on the content from weeks 5 – 9. Your reflection must cover both the theory (learning resources) and practical (learning activity) content provided and discuss how they have shaped and will influence your game design process.

Task: 2
Digital Game post-mortem and design reflection.
Each individual will provide a personal post-mortem document. This document should focus primarily on the individual’s own work and contribution to the digital game, but should also reflect on the team’s overall collaboration if applicable.
This document should contain the following -
1. Game/Level design blueprint, concept designs and iterations. (Images)
- Including short descriptive notes/reflections.
2. Greybox level design (Images)
3. Post-mortem reflection on design process and development.
Task: 3
Create a functional game prototype utilising design theory, appropriate art assets and implementing simple scripts.
Digital game requirements.
1. Either 1st or 3rd person perspective and player control.
2. Using a 3D Game engine.
3. Utilising, at least in part, the provided art assets to create the level.
4. 1 level (approx. 5min gameplay) (per group member)
a. Design must developed in 3 stages (min)
i.. Blueprint, Greybox, Dressed (Polished).
b. Contains a clear stated (or implicit) objective.
c. Contains a simple form of interactivity.
i. This will be your key game mechanic.
d. Contains a measure for success.
i. No open worlds, must be able to complete the level.
ii. Must be in the form of an achievable challenge.
iii. I.e. Defeat the enemies, solve the puzzle, find the key.
5. Game must have a start/end screen and restart functionality.
Task: 4
You will be provided a standard set of art and programming assets to utilise. From these, you are to design and create your own levels. You may also utilise your own created assets, both art and code or you may also utilise other available assets with the following exception –
You must not use a game template in full nor use a tutorial project. You may use them in part with appropriate attribution and referencing.
