In 2020 the first "State of the World's Nursing Report", provided a comprehensive overview of the nursing workforce globally. One of many recommended policy options stated:
'Countries should enable nurses to work to the full extent of their education and training. Possible approaches could include advanced practice roles, expansion of nurse-led clinics... with the commensurate development or strengthening of education and training required.

Nurses with advanced practice credentials should be in settings that optimize (sic) their productivity in providing patient care or leadership and management to other clinicians (World Health Organisation, International Council of Nurses, & Nursing Now 2020, pp. 76-77).

This assessment requires you to critique two different models of advanced practice (such as nurse-led models of care, nurse navigator model of integrated care etc) and outline ways in which the adoption of one of these models could improve the delivery of effective and safe care.

In your paper you are required to:

1. Identify and critique an existing model of advanced nursing practice that you are familiar with:

• Provide an overview of this model of care (including any underpinning policies and frameworks);
• Explain how this model addresses the domains of advanced nursing practice (clinical care, support of systems, education, research, and professional leadership);
• Evaluate the applicability of this model for First Nations peoples and/or other
  vulnerable minority groups.
